Experimenting with style and texture. I thought about using a style of "carved wood" (just thought that a farmer is related to nature) defining big shapes and planes of the character. I also used rake tool (similar thing we would get from sculpting) to define shapes and give texture.


  1. good idea, hows everyone else feel about it?

  2. The wood thing is a cool idea, if the farmer is all scratchy and the alien is super smooth

  3. I like the idea too :) We should do some tests on a couple of quick models like this one to see how the textures would work together. Especially how to contrast textures between the farmer and the alien like Campion said.
